Asia Pacific’s top 12 MLBB teams of the Snapdragon Pro Series will descend to Johor Bahru for the first time to duke it out for glory
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Monday, December 9 – The Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals – Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) makes a return to Malaysian soil in 2025 to ignite the stage in the heart of Johor Bahru on February 14-16, 2025.
The tournament promises a thrilling showdown between 12 top-tier teams from across Asia Pacific as they vie for the crown and the lion’s share of up to USD $150,000 in prizing. Among the teams invited are title defenders and M5 world champions Falcons AP.Bren and Malaysia favorites Selangor Red Giants who recently triumphed at MPL Malaysia Season 14, becoming the first back-to-back champions in league history. Raising the stakes even further, a select number of top teams will earn spots at the Year 3 Snapdragon Mobile Masters to test their mettle against the world’s elite MLBB players.
The Challenge Finals mark the apex of MLBB Season 6 in the Snapdragon Pro Series, the world’s largest multi-title mobile esports ecosystem, delivered by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and Qualcomm Technologies Inc. In partnership with MOONTON Games, MLBB enthusiasts are invited to witness the heart-thumping action in person and enliven the atmosphere at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre across three days of intense competition.

Format
Prior to the Challenge Finals, top teams must climb to the top of the Challenge Season. Here, 16 teams compete in four groups – 12 invited teams and four teams from the Open Finals. The top teams of each group advance to the Challenge Finals Group Stage alongside two additional teams who succeeded in the last chance qualifiers.
The Challenge Finals begin with 12 teams competing in a three-day Group Stage from February 10-12, 2025. Half of these teams will advance to the Challenge Finals Playoffs to compete in front of a live audience from February 14-16, 2025.

- The first round is a single elimination match with the second-seeded and third-seeded teams from the Group Stage.
- The first-seeded teams advance directly to the second round and compete in a double-elimination format.
- All matches are Bo3 except the Upper and Lower Bracket Final which are Bo5, while the Grand Final will be a Bo7 showdown.
